Who can take part in this study?

You may be able to participate in this study if you:

  • Are 18 years or older
  • Have had at least 6 months of chronic lower back pain
  • Have a diagnosis of degenerative disc disease
  • Are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant for the next 24 months
  • Are still experiencing back pain despite trying other treatments for at least 6 months

Is there a cost to participate?

  • There is no cost to you or your insurance to participate in this study. 
  • All necessary diagnostic testing will be covered by the study sponsor.
  • There is also compensation for your time and travel.

Study participants will receive an injection into the painful disc or a sham injection.
