About Eximia Research - CT (Arthritis Specialty Center).

Arthritis Specialty Center has partnered with Eximia Research to expand access to clinical trials for its established rheumatology patient population and communities throughout Idaho. The site combines the experience and trusted relationships of a specialized rheumatology practice with Eximia Research’s comprehensive clinical trial infrastructure. This partnership creates new opportunities for patients living with rheumatic, autoimmune, musculoskeletal, and bone-health conditions to learn about and participate in clinical research close to home.

Experienced Rheumatology Leadership

The research program is led by Ananda Walaliyadda, MD, an experienced rheumatologist with more than 24 years of clinical experience and extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating rheumatic and autoimmune diseases. Dr. Walaliyadda is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and holds additional certifications in clinical densitometry and musculoskeletal/rheumatology ultrasound.

His background also includes postdoctoral research at the University of Florida, where he participated in research involving gout and lupus nephritis.

Our research program focuses on rheumatology, autoimmune disease, osteoporosis, and musculoskeletal health. Eligible participants may have opportunities to explore clinical trials under the care of an experienced rheumatology team.
