Understanding the Connections in Metabolic Health | Clinical Trials Cary NC
Diabetes, weight, thyroid function, bone density, and liver health do not always exist as separate concerns. Changes in one area can influence another, making specialized endocrine knowledge especially valuable in clinical research.
Dr. Yoo’s experience across endocrinology, diabetes, obesity medicine, and internal medicine gives the program a comprehensive view of metabolic health. This breadth may support studies involving common chronic conditions as well as complex patients whose health needs cross multiple specialties.
The practice’s FibroScan capability adds another dimension by supporting noninvasive assessment of liver health. Together with Eximia’s research support, these capabilities allow Cary Endocrine & Diabetes Center to offer local patients access to research spanning endocrine, metabolic, bone, and liver-related conditions.
Therapeutic Area.
Cary Endocrine & Diabetes Center supports research across the interconnected areas of endocrine and metabolic health. Its specialized physician expertise and FibroScan capability create opportunities to conduct studies involving diabetes, weight, thyroid function, bone health, and metabolic liver disease.
