- Compensation of up to $1355 may be available. Additional compensation for travel and caregivers may be available.
About the Study
Acne is a long-lasting skin condition caused by extra skin oil, clogged pores, and skin swelling. While regular skincare routines, creams, and antibiotics help many people, others still struggle with persistent symptoms like red pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads.
This clinical research study is testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational once-daily oral pill in adults and adolescents aged 12 and older. The study medication works by blocking a specific enzyme in the body involved in making skin oil. By reducing extra skin oil, researchers hope this treatment can provide a potential new, effective option for managing moderate-to-severe acne.
