Researchers are studying an investigational medication to see if it may help improve liver health and reduce inflammation in people with moderate to advanced stages of Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH).

The goal of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the investigational medication and learn whether it could become a future treatment option for people living with MASH.

We are looking for adults aged 18+ to join our Fatty Liver Clinical Research Study.

This clinical research study is focused on Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), a type of liver disease linked to fat buildup, inflammation, and possible liver damage over time.

Researchers are evaluating treatments for MASH (metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis). By joining our fatty liver clinical research study, you become a vital partner in medical progress. Who Can Join

You may be able to participate if you:

  • Are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with MASH confirmed by a liver biopsy
  • Have a BMI over 25, or a larger waist size
  • Have Type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure
  • Have had relatively stable weight (no major changes in the past 6 months)
  • Are willing to undergo an MRI if one hasn’t been done recently
  • Are willing to have a liver biopsy if needed

You may not be eligible if you:

  • Have certain liver conditions such as cirrhosis, severe liver disease, or viral hepatitis
  • Have a history of pancreatitis or pancreatic injury
  • Have Type 1 diabetes or certain nerve or stomach-related conditions
  • Have HIV or other significant infections affecting the liver
  • Have used certain medications or long-term weight-loss treatments recently
  • Are taking medications that may affect liver health or bone metabolism (some exceptions may apply)
