Who Can Join

You may be able to participate in the flu vaccine research study if you: 

  • Are 65 years old or older
  • Are in stable health (participants with pre-existing but well-controlled chronic medical conditions are typically eligible).

You may not be eligible if you:

  • Have already received a flu vaccine within the past 6 months
  • Have tested positive for the flu in the past 6 months
  • Have a significantly compromised immune system due to a medical condition (e.g., active cancer or immunodeficiency) or are receiving immunosuppressive therapies (e.g., high-dose systemic corticosteroids, biological therapies, or chemotherapy).
  • Have a known history of severe allergic reactions to any component of mRNA vaccines or standard influenza vaccines.
