About the Study
We understand the challenges that come with living with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). While occasional anxiety is a normal part of life, having GAD means that your anxiety is out of control or negatively impacting your day-to-day life.Β
Doctors have several prescription treatment options for GAD. Antidepressants are often used as the first treatment for the symptoms of GAD. Buspirone has also been approved for the treatment of GAD. However, in some people, these treatments may not be providing enough relief from excessive worry and other GAD symptoms.Β
This is why there is a need for new treatment options for GAD. Since so many peopleβs symptoms may not respond to these currently available treatments, there is still a need for other therapies that are safe and effective. Β
This research study will evaluate an investigational drug to be taken for GAD in individuals who have taken at least two prescription GAD treatments with unsatisfactory symptomΒ relief.Β
Before new medications can be approved for public use, they must be tested in research studies like this one. If you have tried treating your GAD with at least two prescribed medications that did not provide enough symptom relief, please continue reading to see if our study may be of interest to you
