About the Study
Gout flares are not only painful but also can be very frustrating. A lot of people who suffer from gout still struggle with symptoms even when on medication such as allopurinol. This program is evaluating the effectiveness of the study drug, dotinurad, compared to other gout medicine in lowering serum uric acid (the waste product that builds up in the blood, leading to gout symptoms).
