Who Can Join
To qualify, your child must:
- Be between 2 and 6 months old
- Be generally healthy, based on medical history and a physical exam
- Have not received pneumonia or pneumococcal vaccines
- Have not received routine baby shots (DTaP, Polio, Hib, Rotavirus) Exception: One Hepatitis B shot in the first 30 days is allowed
- Have no major birth defects, chronic illnesses, or serious infections
